WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF

ON THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE?
Inspired by Paul Salopek's photojournalism project, Out of Eden Walk, we set off on a mission to answer this question. Along our journey, we examined how storytellers across cultures construct narratives of the human experience. There are more than seven billion people who call this planet home.
How do the most pressing issues facing our planet affect their lived experiences? Our students identified and researched an environmental or humanitarian problem affecting the world today. Their podcasts tell the past, present, and future of that issue from a local to a global scale. Their stories examine how the problem was created, explain it through the eyes of one person's experience, and present a vision of the future for our planet. |
